In 1985 Michael Arpe founded the company ma design. Over the years ma design grew from a design studio into a comprehensive development partner: UXMA. If we have learnt anything over the last 30 years, it’s the necessity to move forward, even in the face of resistance. Anyone who knows us is familiar with our special dynamic as well as our demand for the highest standards of the quality of our solutions.

Digital Mindset and Interdisciplinary Variety

We have been working successfully with our customers via digital channels, platforms and tools for many years and are well trained and positioned in networked, collaborative development. In our daily development work, we use a wide range of tools for different fields of application. However, we can also easily integrate ourselves into the digital ecosystem of our customers.

While doing so, we approach every situation with openness and creativity. Far away from any departmental thinking, our teams always work together cross-functionally and approach their tasks from different perspectives. With our methodological competence and extensive experience in a wide range of specialist areas, we are able to respond individually to our customers and develop holistic solutions.

  DiWiSH links companies together with each other as well as with science, institutions and politics. As a member of the association, UXMA contributes to actively shaping and sustainably strengthening the IT and media sector as well as the design industry in Schleswig-Holstein.
- Kiel University of Applied Sciences
  
  With more than 7900 students, Kiel University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of applied sciences in Schleswig-Holstein. In the Computer Science and Media Engineering degree programs, UXMA enables students to work on realistic and practical projects and provides mentors.
