Where do you start at UXMA?

Our office building at Planckstrasse 13 is your starting point for the first day at work. You can reach the entrance to the industrial loft through the underpass. In the building itself, you will find many individual cubes that are rented by various companies. UXMA is located in "Cube 8". Don't worry, your mentor is already waiting for you here, showing you your workplace and providing you with everything you need to get settled in.

How do you get to us?

Bike

If you come by bike, you can park your bike safely in the backyard.
Public Transport

There are various ways to get to us by public transport. The S1 stops nearby at the "Ottensen" S-Bahn station, and at the "Altona" station you have connections to long-distance services and the S-Bahn lines 1, 2, 3 and 5. If you come by bus, the next stop is "Daimlerstraße" or "Fabrik".
Car

You can park directly in Planckstraße. Sometimes it takes a bit of luck to find a parking space. So make sure you also look in the side streets. However, you will need a parking ticket almost everywhere.

What do we wear at UXMA?

Right up front: You are good, just the way you are!

At UXMA we don't have a specific dress code. At the same time, it's important to us that everyone feels equally comfortable. Here we have prepared some photos for you to give you an idea of how we dress at UXMA.

We look forward to welcoming you to the office at the agreed time. Your mentor will be waiting for you and will show you your fully equipped workplace.Afterwards, you will take a tour of the UXMA cube and get to know your new colleagues.

You'll get your IT equipment and you can settle in peacefully. Your mentor provides you with useful tips and tricks.

It's helpful if you think of a secure password for your IT access in advance. This should consist of lowercase and uppercase letters, special characters, and numbers. Your further onboarding can then start with it!

Between 12-2pm, it's time for a approx. one-hour lunch break. You can decide how you want to spend your break.

If you would like to bring your favorite food in a lunchbox, you can reheat your food in our microwave in the kitchenette and eat it there. We offer a variety of drinks including water, apple spritzer, tea and coffee, and we always have a selection of snacks available for those small hunger moments in between.

Oh, by the way: We have a fridge where you can store your fresh groceries that you bring with you.
