To make your start with us as easy as possible, we have prepared some answers to your possible questions. Take a look yourself. You will definitely settle in with us quickly. In any case, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our team soon!

Discover your new workplace – Kiel

Where do you start at UXMA?

Our office building located at Düvelsbeker Weg 12 is your starting point for the first day of work. Your mentor will be waiting for you here, showing you your workplace and providing you with everything you need to get settled in.

How do you get to us?

Bike

If you come by bike, you can park your bike safely on our premises. Extra bike stands are available for you here. By the way, many colleagues come to work by bike every day.
Public Transport

Getting to us by public transportation is very easy. The bus stops "Belvedere" and "Düvelsbeker Weg" are only 300 meters away from us.
Car

If you come by car, you can park directly on Düvelsbeker Weg. Sometimes you have to be a little lucky when searching for a parking spot. Therefore, be sure to also check the side streets.

What do we wear at UXMA?

Right up front: You are good, just the way you are!

At UXMA we don't have a specific dress code. At the same time, it's important to us that everyone feels equally comfortable. Here we have prepared some photos for you to give you an idea of how we dress at UXMA.

Your mentor will be waiting for you at the agreed time and will show you your fully equipped workplace. Afterwards, you will take a tour of the UXMA office and get to know your new colleagues.

Our people & culture team hand your personal transponder over so that you can move freely around the premises and explore your new working environment from now on.

You'll get your IT equipment and you can settle in peacefully. Your mentor provides you with useful tips and tricks.

It's helpful if you think of a secure password for your IT access in advance. This should consist of lowercase and uppercase letters, special characters, and numbers. Your further onboarding can then start with it!

Between 12-2pm, it's time for a approx. one-hour lunch break. You can decide how you want to spend your break.

If you want to bring your favorite food in a lunchbox, you can use our large kitchen to prepare your food and eat at one of the tables. Some colleagues come together to cook really delicious meals! On warm summer days, we often take the opportunity to grill in our cozy garden. Other colleagues go to the weekly market at Blücherplatz, use the break to run errands or simply put their feet up at home. As you can see, anything is possible.

We offer a variety of drinks including water, apple spritzer, tea and coffee, and we always have a selection of snacks available for those small hunger moments in between.

Oh, by the way: We have a fridge on each floor where you can store your fresh groceries that you bring with you.
