Open Office Event Dresden

Home office, video calls and virtual coffee breaks – if the pandemic has taught us one thing, it's that remote work at UXMA works flawlessly. However, experiencing face-to-face conversations and friendly faces in real life is simply irreplaceable. Therefore, after more than 2 years of the pandemic, it was a great pleasure for us to celebrate and inaugurate the expansion of our office in Dresden with a great open office event together with our customers, partners and employees.

Teamwork makes the dream work

In 2012, we opened our Dresden office with two colleagues. Ten years later, our Dresden team has grown by another nine people. How do you manage to weld a growing team together in times of lockdown, home office and remote work? We know the answer: You take on the expansion and renovation of the new office together as a team! The result was not only a great office space, but above all a team that has grown even closer together. “The office expansion was therefore the best thing that could have happened to us after Corona to come together as a team,” said Christian Fritz, Lead UX Designer in Dresden.

To share this unique atmosphere with our partners and clients, we hosted our Open Office event at the end of October.

Lectures, showcases, beer and lively conversations

According to our claim “we build future experience” we offered our guests an insight into our diverse project topics via interactive showcases. In addition to presentations on the topics of Design Driven Development, Accessibility, 5 Mistakes in User Requirement Engineering and Drawing as a Tool in the Design Process, there was also the opportunity to experience our projects up close via VR glasses, such as our night cabin concept "The Refit Night Express".

These content highlights were abyssed by finger food, wine and beer from the region. We are pleased that so many friendly faces accepted our invitation and used the evening for personal exchange. Even though we proved that remote work works wonderfully. There is no substitute for direct face-to-face communication in a relaxed atmosphere.
