Digital Customer Portals for Linde Material Handling and STILL

A young man with dark hair sits in front of a computer and looks at the monitor. It shows the homepage of the customer portal for the STILL brand. The man is in an office, through the window of which you can see into a large warehouse.

Two modern customer portals have been developed for the brands Linde Material Handling and STILL – supported by UXMA.

Fleet Management in Transition

Under the guidance of Linde Material Handling and STILL, modern, scalable digital platforms were developed that are specifically tailored to the different market and customer requirements of the two brands. Development took place in-house over several years, with a close integration of technology, product strategy, and user-centricity. The teams utilized agile development approaches and a shared technological vision to implement innovations efficiently and in line with market needs.

This internal expertise was complemented by the UX expertise of our UXMA team, which supported the design of the platforms. The external support served to enrich selected areas such as experience design, user research, and prototype validation.

In this way, the business strengths and differentiation of Linde Material Handling and STILL were combined with a shared digital foundation—an approach that equally promotes innovation speed, scalability, and sustainable customer value.

Two platforms, one goal:
Efficiency and Transparency

The development of two platforms enabled both brands to optimally meet specific customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation.

At the same time, both platforms offer:

  • a central control interface for all relevant fleet modules

  • modern, intuitive user interfaces

  • AI-based analytics for greater transparency and efficiency

  • energy and charging management to reduce costs and resource consumption

Both systems were developed with a user-centric approach from the very beginning – featuring regular testing, feedback loops, and iterative optimizations. This approach has resulted in two modern, future-proof platforms that make logistics processes more efficient, secure, and transparent. The systems are continuously refined based on global market trends and user requirements.

SAFe Process with an interdisciplinary Team

myLinde and the STILL SMART PORTAL were developed by an interdisciplinary team using the scalable agile framework SAFe. Our UXMA team, which has extensive experience with agile methodologies, worked closely with other partners and experts from the digital agency Ergosign.

The Fleet Analysis module is shown on the screen of a laptop. A table and a diagram explaining the operating hours of the vehicles can be seen.

Research as the Basis for each Module

The focus on users was a central component of the project strategy right from the start. Multilingual interviews, repeated test cycles and detailed evaluations formed the basis for the development of the individual modules – including access control, reporting tools and the energy dashboard.

The picture shows various warehouses at night. Numerous trucks can be seen in front of them. The illuminated headlights and tail lights of vehicles can be seen on the roads connecting the halls.

The “Parcel” design system, which was also co-developed by UXMA, serves as the basis for the design of the two customer portals.
